A national organization is touring across Florida to help folks who are struggling to make ends meet. The "Help is Here Express" bus tour made a pit stop in Panama City at St. Andrew Baptist Church Friday.

The staff gave away free and cheap prescription medicines for uninsured and financially struggling residents.

The bus tour is sponsored by the Partnership for Prescription Assistance Program and several drug companies.

They’re hoping to raise awareness about the rising cost of prescription drugs.

After Panama City, the bus tour will be heading to Sarasota, Winter Haven, New Smyrna Beach and Orlando.
