Gulf Coast Community College has a new Board of Trustees member.
Gov. Jeb Bush has appointed 44-year-old Dan Estes of Lynn Haven to succeed Clinton Mayo on the board. Estes, an assistant general manager for Applebee’s, will serve a four-year term.
The governor also reappointed Karen Durden of Panama City and Allen Cox of Port St. Joe for new four-year terms on the college’s board.
Meanwhile, Bush reappointed three members of the Board of Trustees at Okaloosa-Walton College to new four-year terms.
Vercell Vance of Shalimar, Joseph Henderson of Ft. Walton Beach and Elizabeth Campbell of Defuniak Springs each will serve an additional term.
All of the appointments must be confirmed by the Florida Senate.
