It happened around noon in the yard of a Parker home.
Fifty-five-year-old John Tadlock owns a tree trimming service, and according to witnesses had climbed atop a tree to trim it.
They say he got disoriented and accidentally cut the rope keeping him in place with a chainsaw.
Witnesses say he fell 50 feet and landed on his back. They say Tadlock did have feeling in his legs when he left the scene.
He was taken to Bay Medical where he is reportedly in stable condition.
