The Eastern Half of Panama City Has Water Problems

Panama City residents east of Harrison Ave, south of 15th Street and west of Everitt Ave., are being advised to boil all water used for cooking or drinking until further notice.

A water main under Watson Bayou broke on Tuesday causing residents to boil their water or use bottled water.

Hospitals, schools and restaurants have ordered cases of water to be brought in

The affect area is all of eastern Panama City from Harrison Ave to Everitt Ave to 15th Street on the north. This includes the downtown area, The Cove, Old Orchard, Watson Bayou, Millville and Bay Harbor.

Repairs and more testing will take place Thursday. That means people could still be boiling their water until Friday
