Friday it was revealed that Arinc Engineering Services had won the Governor’s Business Diversification Award.
Earlier, Arinc won the local Business Innovation Award. That’s quite an accomplishment to win both the local and the state awards.
Arinc is developing an information intelligence-sharing tool. It’s called the Collaborative Decision Aid will automatically gather and display critical information from various government and police agencies.
David Stewart of Arinc explained the thought behind the system.
“You never know in a crisis what is going to happen to your ability to communicate. What we are working on will insure that communications are always available to decision makers throughout the country.”
Arinc was selected by the First Air Force at Tyndall Air Force Base to develop the system.
