Dems in Town

By  |

Sunday night the Bay County Democratic Party hosted a luau to featuring the party's three candidates.

Former party chairman Scott Maddox, Congressman Jim Davis, and State Senator Rod Smith all spoke. The event took place at the Little White House on Highway 98.

The candidates spoke about issues ranging from education, abortion, and healthcare.

All three seem undaunted about campaigning in an area where the majority votes Republican.

You'll certainly be hearing more from these candidates over the next year. The primaries aren't until September 5, 2006.
