Cedar Grove residents should now be able to take a shower or flush a toilet again.
Many residents in the small east side city had been without water since a little after noon on Thursday. Others who had water had very low water pressure.
Cedar Grove Police Chief John Ferrick says the utility system lost pressure because of a water line break.
The water came back on a few minutes before 10 p.m. Thursday.
Those in Cedar Grove are advised to boil all water used for cooking or drinking for the next day or two to make sure no bacteria got into the system during repairs.
