Investigators have identified the man found dead in a car on I-10 Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies found the body of 24-year-old Wayne McDonald in the driver's seat of a white Toyota Camry. It was parked on the westbound shoulder of the interstate, around mile marker 130, near the Cottondale exit. The engine was running and the hazard lights flashing.
Deputies found some kind of pills in the car, but they don't know if it had anything to do with McDonald's death.
Investigators say there does not appear to be any sign of foul play.
The medical examiner’s office is performing an autopsy, and the state is doing toxicology tests to determine what killed McDonald.
