Graceville Fire

The state fire marshal's investigator’s office says they know what caused a huge fire that destroyed a Graceville landmark two months ago.

This enormous fire burned more than 40,000 square feet of the Graceville Outlet Center in August. The blaze started in the Dollar General Store then spread to a bingo hall, a vacant office and a physical therapy center.

It took more than 70 firefighters over two hours to put it out. Investigators now say bad wiring caused the fire. They've ruled it as accidental.

Authorities estimate the shopping center damages to be at least $5 million.
