The gasoline shortage is having a major impact of local companies that depend on trucks.
Several of the local garbage and trash collection companies are considering changing their residential service schedule.
They may cut back from the present schedule of two pick-ups a week to just once a week.
The companies informed the Bay County Commission about the possible changes last week. They say the move is just temporary, and should last only about 30 days.
Nate's Sanitation, Parker Hauling, MB Environmental Services, Big Wheel of Florida and Waste Management are the firms considering the change.
If you have any questions or comments, just call your individual garbage company.
