The Second Annual Contemporary and Latin American Art Show wrapped up Monday at the Visual Art Center.
The show is sponsored by the Panama City Renaissance School. It features original works from well-known Latin American artists, as well as students and local artists. Each of the renaissance students created at least one work of art.
Visitors were few on Monday, but coordinators say there was a large response over the weekend.
"The opening was Friday night and we were absolutely packed. I think people were very interested in the international flavor of the exhibit and also seeing the comparison of what we do locally as compared to what is done in Ecuador, Guatemala and Mexico," said Juliann Talkington with the Panama City Renaissance School.
Last year the exhibit was held at the renaissance school, but they teamed up with the Visual Art Center this year to expand the show.
