A local woman, who was killed last fall in a motorcycle wreck, was apparently victimized after her death.

Mosley High School graduate Ashley Slonina was killed back on October 12th. The crash happened in Gainesville, where Slonina was attending the University of Florida. She was riding on the back of the motor scooter with Michael Guilford, a 2004 graduate of Blountstown High School, and a player on the Florida Gators football team. Guilford was also killed.

Now it appears one of Guilford's gator teammates may have stolen Slonina's credit card and used it as early as the day after she died.

Authorities in Gainesville say 21-year-old junior safety Jamar Hornsby turned himself-in Friday.

The surrender comes the day after a Gainesville judge issued a warrant for his arrest on credit card theft and fraudulent use of a credit card charges.

Investigators say Hornsby used Slonina's card for 6-months following her death. His attorney has refused to comment on the case, saying only they they're cooperating with authorities.
