With gas prices skyrocketing and no relief in sight, wouldn't you like to save a few bucks at the pump?

There are a few ways you can beat those high gas prices and save a few bucks.

Yes, we're all tired of the high gas prices these days.

"It really stinks that it's so high," Melinda Hallman, a customer said.

What if you could save a few bucks’? It sounds too good to be true, right? Here are a few ways to save.

The first one is just a click away.

Websites such as Gasbuddy.com can help you find the cheapest gas in your area. Just type in your zip code.

The cheapest we found in Channel 7's zip code is RC Gas and Food Mart at $3.73 a gallon.

Also, combine your trips. Instead of making multiple trips, plan ahead and make it a one stop shop.

Buy on Wednesday mornings; why Wednesdays? Gas prices tend to go up for the weekend and come down shortly thereafter, so on Wednesdays, you could save a few pennies.

And, it is much cooler in the mornings, which means you get more gas in your tank.

Use public transportation like the trolley. This actually has two purposes. You save gas and you won't get rush hour road rage.

And, grab all your friends together and carpool. Everyone is a winner here.

Experts say having too much junk in your trunk such as golf clubs and chairs could have you paying more for fuel.

You could always get in line to buy a hybrid.

"The biggest advantage is that your weekly cost of owning the vehicle is going to be quite a bit lower," Ronnie McBride of Panama City Toyota said.

Vehicles such as the Toyota Prius can get up to 45 miles per gallon.

"Well, this is very economical, it's a Romanian Scooter," Dudley Sims said.

But, if you're a big penny pincher, you could take this guys advice. "It's great; more people ought to try it because gas prices are going so high," Sims added.

Experts recommend, if you want to save more money, pass on premium gas. Unless your car requires it, you’re wasting an extra 20 cents or more a gallon.

Also, keeping your tires properly inflated can increase your gas mileage.

getting a gift card at walmart and using it to pay for your gas at the murphys oil station directly in front of walmart saves an additional 3 cents on gas.
