I-10 Crash Results in D-U-I Manslaughter Charges Save Email Print

One person is dead, another critically injured and a third person is charged with D-U-I Manslaughter in a traffic crash at sunrise Saturday morning on Interstate Ten in Gadsden County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says a car driven by 22 year old Jessie William Conliffe of Quincy veered into the outside lane of westbround I-10 and collided with a pick up truck. The truck went into a spin when it was hit and rolled over several times.

The pick up driver, who's identity is being withheld until relatives is notified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Passanger in the truck, 50 year old Patric Lucy Cortez of Margate, Florida was critically injured.

Conliffe, the driver of the car involved, was arrested at the scene on charges of D-U-I Manslaughter and D-U-I with bodily injury. He was not injured in the deadly crash.
