Two Died Five Injured in I-10 Crash at Chattahoochee Save Email Print

Eastbound traffic on Interstate Ten is now reopened at the Jackson, Gadsden county line after being closed for hours today.

Two people were killed and five were injured in a 9-am single vehicle accident there.

The Florida Highway Patrol says an S-U-V ran off the shoulder of the interstate near Chattahoochee and began to overturn.

Six of the seven people in the S-U-V were thrown from the overturning vehicle.

Two of the passengers were killed, five were taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital - three are in critical condition, one is serious and one is fair.

The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed until early this afternoon.

The names of those involved are not being released until relatives are notified.
