Body of Mississippi Man Recovered

I was in Panama City this past weekend when the undertow was so bad. I do not understand why they do not have flags on the beach let vacationeers know how safe the water is. I stayed on Front Beach Road and looked for flags but did not see any. Common sense would tell you not to go into the water (even wading you could feel the undertow was horrible) but plenty of people were in the water. The beach police drove by all day and never stopped to let people know it was unsafe. The only time they made people get out of the water was when they had to rescue three people in the area we were in. Other than that they just rode up and down the beach.

In regards to the soldier whio died trying to save a distress swimmer, if it were up to me, that distressed swimmer should be arrested and charged with manslaughter. When it's not save to go swimming, then you should not go swimming. How intelligent to you ha ve to be to know that?
