The Washington County school district has parted ways with a teacher who supposedly used some unusual methods.
In September, a number of students and their parents complained about alternative education instructor Phillip Frost.
They claimed Frost let students shine shoes, mop floors, and read the Bible to earn extra credit.
The school district investigated the claims and has decided to let Frost go.
This was Frost's first year in the Washington County school system. He was still working under a probationary period, which allowed the school system to terminate him without explanation.
