Tuesday night friends and family held a vigil at the home of a 17-year-old Mosley High School student that was killed last Friday in an ATV accident.

More than 75 people gathered in the front lawn of Jennifer Medlock's home Tuesday evening to remember her spirit.

Jennifer’s death is the second at Mosely this year.

School leaders say this is a trying time for students in the Mosley community coping with not only one, but two deaths.

Jennifer's classmates gathered around her parents sharing happy memories of Jennifer’s life. Friends and family say Jennifer was an outgoing and friendly person and always had a smile.

"She was the brightest star. Jen loved her friends her friends were her everything she would go to bat for her friends in a minute. She lived and laughed to the fullest and I hope I can learn from her in that respect."

"I felt tonight would be a good night for her friends to come out and show their respect for her and their love for her and they need each other."

The visitation for Jennifer will be Thursday from six to eight at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral has been changed to Thursday at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Lynn Haven.
