2 Jet Ski Operators Lucky To Still Be Alive

Two jet ski operators were injured when their watercraft crashed at Deer Point Lake Monday afternoon.

The crash happened a little after 2:00 in what deputies described as a high-speed head-on crash.

Both of the jet skiers were taken to Bay Medical Center. One is described as a trauma patient and the second is reported to have serious injuries.

Neither names are available at this time.

Bay County Sheriff's Deputies, Bay County Fire Rescue, and Bay County Paramedics along with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Officers all took part is rescuing, stabilizing and treating the two victims on the shore and rushing them to the hospital.
