Chances are a car repair shop near you is going to be visited by state investigators starting next week.
Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles Bronson says it’s the latest leg of a state wide sweep of auto repair shops.
It will start in Bay County next Monday.
The proactive sweeps are designed to make sure repair shops are properly registered and comply with state regulations, including providing estimates and invoices for repair work.
The state blitz will see investigators visiting all 195 car repair shops in Bay County.
It’s the seventh conducted statewide in recent months
