The Department of Defense is being told it should help people with garage door openers jammed by military radios.
Many residents in the Ft. Walton Beach area near Eglin Air Force Base know that problem all too well.
Friday, the General Accounting Office released a report saying the Pentagon hasn't done enough to help those who are affected.
The problem comes from military radios that broadcast on frequencies close to those used by garage door openers, rendering them useless.
The report also says that the military owns the frequencies, and while they should help people, they don't have to.
Eglin has run into the problem for the last year, but usually warns residents when to expect some problems.
