Two members of the Citizens’ Coalition to Preserve Cedar Grove went door-to-door in the Hiland Park section of Cedar Grove to talk to residents. The duo passed out memos from the town's interim attorney regarding the issue.

They say residents aren't receiving truthful information regarding the town’s dissolution, such as taxes not going up and franchise fees being eliminated. They also spoke to residents about what will happen to the services they're provided should cedar grove be dissolved.

"The most important thing we want to give these people tonight is the information to make an educated vote and to encourage them that they need to get out, go into their commission meetings, get involved in their town before things happen that are out of their control," said Tricia Lacount, a member of Citizens’ Coalition to Preserve Cedar Grove.

Tricia Lacount is not a citizen of Cedar Grove herself, but she works in the town. The coalition is an incorporated group.
