Public Gun Range Opens This Weekend

The Bay County Commission and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are hosting a series of public shooting range events at the Campflowers Gun Range as they work toward establishing a permanent public facility at another location.

The Campflowers Gun Range is located on South Campflowers Rd. in Youngstown, will be open to the public on the following dates:

Saturday, May 11
Sunday, May 12
Saturday, May 18
Sunday, May 19

Saturday, June 8
Sunday, June 9

Saturday, July 13
Sunday, July 14

The hours of operations are 8:00am to 4:00pm.
8am-noon – 10-yard pistol
Noon-4pm – 100-yard rifle

Shotguns are prohibited. Target frames and backings will be provided; however, shooters must bring their own paper targets. The range fee will be $10 per adult, payable by cash or check only, and minors under the age of 16 are admitted free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Any fees left after operational costs are covered will go toward establishing a permanent gun range in Bay County.
