Calhoun Diebold

Deibold voting machines may be a concern in Leon County but there's not much talk about them in Calhoun County.

Leon County’s Supervisor of Elections says these voting machines can be hacked without leaving evidence of any tampering.

Calhoun County is among 30 counties in Florida that use the Diebold voting system.

Bay County uses a different system. Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen says.

So why didn't Bay County purchase Diebold instead of its current voting system?

"Through a competitive bid process we resulted in buying election systems software."

Diebold officials are saying the test that breached the security of the voting machines is unrealistic because it bypassed normal security procedures.
