Florida's strong job growth continues at 3.4 percent, more than twice the national rate.
The national rate of growth was 1.5 percent for the for November. Florida leads the nation in the number of new jobs created and has the lowest unemployment rate of the ten most populous states.
For November the jobless picture was mixed but still fairly constant in this area. The unemployment rates increased slightly in Bay, Gulf, Jackson and Washington counties.
Meanwhile, unemployment improved in Franklin, Holmes, Okaloosa and Walton counties. And the jobless rate remained the same in Calhoun and Liberty counties. Statewide, Florida's unemployment rate in November was 3.6%, up a tenth of a percent from a month earlier
