I met Hannah Finch during a shriners’ Christmas party and we soon discovered we have something in common, a love for music.

Every time you see this bubbly six-year-old she has a huge smile on her face. You'd never know what she's gone through in her short life.

Hannah Finch said, "They helped me get my braces, braces for my feet so my bones don't twist. I have to wear them all the time. You want to see?"

The local shriners organization has helped Hannah every step of the way.

J.B. Fowler of the Shaddai Shrine Temple said, "We enjoy doing it because it's such a rewarding thing to see these children after they've been operated on and you always see them with a smile on their face. It just touches your heart, and that's what makes it so rewarding."

As you can tell, Hannah doesn't let braces slow her down. In fact, she wants to help other kids who aren't as fortunate.

"I've been saving tabs every month."

She's doing it by collecting the tabs off soda cans. Every tab can be redeemed for one pill to help a sick child. Fifty buys leg braces or foot braces like Hannah’s.

Her goal is one million tabs, and it doesn't have to be soda cans. You can also save the tabs from other pop tops, such as cans of vegetables.

Hannah heads back to the Shriners Hospital in Tampa next February. She's hoping to take the one million tabs with her.

"We have these big bottles and trying to get them to each store.”

Culligan Water Company donated the jars, and the shriners, they have no doubt Hannah can do it.

"I think she'll meet her goal and them some."

If you'd like to help little Hannah in her mission you can drop off your tabs here at Newschannel Seven or Cook Whitehead Ford on 15th Street and Gulf Beach Baptist in Panama City Beach.

In Chipley Arby's, Uncle Billy's Restaurant, Capitol City Bank, Ronnie B Good's, Gary's Flaming Grill, Sunny Hills Country Store, A and B Auto Sales, the Probation and Parole Office inside the Washington County Courthouse.

Northwest florida community hospital and cathy herring is the contact at the hospital, or you can contract the shriners organizations in panama city and chipley.
