The Bay County Humane Society's biggest fundraising event of the year wraps-up Saturday at the Bay Point Wyndham in Panama City Beach.
All summer long, pet owners have been submitting photos of their pets to be included in the Humane Society's 2014 Calendar.
The top 12 pets that receive the most votes, in the way of financial contributions to the Humane Society, will make it in the publication.
So far, 70 pets are entered.
Most years it's just dogs and cats, but this year the Humane Society took photos of some exotic animals, including a chicken, a bull, and twin parrots.
Guests of Saturday night's Finale Party will have a chance to place their bids on the prettiest pets.
"A lot of people are just wanting to get their pets in the calendar, so there's a lot of voting, a lot of competition... So it's good to see people care to get their pet out, as well as do it for a good cause for the humane society," says Sean Brosnan, the Marketing Director for the Bay County Humane Society.
Besides the calendar contest, guests can participate in a silent auction, which features some pretty unique items, including a set of original Faberge shot glasses.
The set is valued at about $750.
Some of the area's best restaurants will be serving their signature dishes, and participating in a tasting competition.
There will also be a live band. All of the proceeds will go to the Humane Society of Bay County, which is the only no-kill shelter in the county.
The event runs from 6:30 to 10 Saturday night at the Bay Point Wyndham, tickets can be purchased at the door.
