A man, who was driving drunk in Panama City Beach when he killed a teenager from Illinois and permanently injured two others, has lost his latest appeal.
Ronald Arrowood was convicted in 2001 of killing Jeffrey Barnthouse.
Barnthouse was a passenger in a car on Thomas Drive that Arrowood slammed into the morning of March 31, 2000.
The wreck also permanently injured two other teenagers in the car.
The First District Court of Appeals denied Arrowood's claim of ineffective counsel this week.
He'll get out of prison in 2039.
