A Jackson County girl is clinging to life in an Alabama hospital after she was shot Friday night.
The shooting occurred on Magnolia Road just south of Marianna around 6 p.m.
The road was closed for several hours as sheriff’s investigators worked the crime scene and looked for clues ad evidence.
Twelve-year-old Ronna Grubbs was apparently in the passenger seat of a car driven by her grandfather when he got into an argument with another man in a case of apparent Road Rage.
During the argument, 64-year-old Edill Carror allegedly shot the 12-year-old girl. He’s charged with attempted murder and is lodged in the Jackson County Jail in Marianna.
The girl was life-flighted to Flowers Hospital in Dothan where she is in critical but stable condition.
