Former Employee Tries To Rob KFC

LYNN HAVEN - The man who tried to rob the Kentucky Fried Chicken used to work there, according to police.

Around 9:05 Wednesday night, police say Raymond Dubose, 21, of Panama City, walked into the KFC on Highway 77, armed with two handguns and wearing a mask over his face. He told the manager to open the safe.

Despite the disguise, the manager and another employee recognized Dubose. He was fired by the restaurant just last month.

The manager called Dubose by name and refused to open the safe or give him any money. So, he took off.

Dubose is charged with attempted armed robbery.
