Man Arrested in Connection with Weekend Shooting

A man was arrested Monday in connection with a weekend shooting in Panama City.

Police caught up with 36 year old Frederick Hall with the help of u.S. Marshals, FDLE and Bay County Sheriff's Deputies.

The shooting happened Saturday in the 1000 block of East 9th street.

Police say it started as a fight between hall and 43 year old Nathaniel Hester and ended with Hester being shot in the arm.

He was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Witnesses helped identify Hall as the shooter and law enforcement caught up with him Monday near Joe Moody Park.

He is charged with attempted felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession a firearm while committing a felony, and felon in possession of a firearm.
