Saturday morning the Panama City Beach Police Department is holding an auction to clean out surplus, seized, stolen and abandoned property collected throughout the year.
Some items include computers, wave runners, cars and televisions. Depending on what the items were brought in for determines what the money will be used for, but all the money earned does goes right back into the city.
David Humphreys of the Police Department says, "We use that money to purchase the new equipment that goes on the new vehicles, so it kinda rolls back in to what it was originally intended for."
Viewing and pre-registration starts on Friday, and the auction will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday.
