Search Widens for Missing Teen

It's been almost two months since a Panama City teenager disappeared into the night from his home.

A Defuniak Springs teenager says he knows where the boy is, but refuses to give the information to the boy's parents.

Authorities titled 16-year-old Ian Siders of Cedar Grove an endangered runaway. Earlier this year he asked his parents to admit him to Bay Behavioral Clinic because he was having suicidal thoughts.

Ian and his parents attended a family counseling session on March 2. That night he stepped out of the house and never returned.

His 18-year-old cousin Matthew lives in Defuniak Springs. He says he knows Ian's location but will not tell anyone.

Ian's father, Kenneth Siders, says the situation is torturing his family.

"We've looked for almost a month, day and night for Ian, and now I've found this out and I just can't imagine why anyone would do this."

The Siders family is being assisted by the Polly Klass Foundation, which helps parents find missing kids. If you have any information on Ian's whereabouts you're asked to call Ken Siders at 850-532-0925
