A former Florida Senator and Mayor of Defuniak Springs has died. John Angus McDonald passed away Tuesday. He was 91.

McDonald was a former State Senator, a former Administrator of the Chipley and Defuniak Springs hospitals and served for a number of years as Mayor of Defuniak Springs.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 17, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel at 230 Park Avenue in Defuniak Springs.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday July 18th, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Euchee Valley Cemetery.
