A little girl in Chipley is one step closer to her goal of helping sick children..

Hannah Finch is collecting soda can tabs for the Shriners Hospital. She placed five gallon jugs in several locations across the area.

This morning Jerry Havland from the Washington County Council of Aging presented her with about twenty thousands tabs to add to her collection.

Hannah says Shriners Hospital helped her get the care she needs, and she want to make sure they help other children just like her.

"I'm saving up for the Shriners because they help pay for my braces."

So far Hannah has collected about 300,000 tabs. She will turn them over at her next doctors appointment at the Shriners Hospital in February of 2009. Her goal is one million tabs.

Some of the tabs she got today were donated by the Northwest Florida Community Hospital.
