One of the legends of professional wrestling is back in Panama City Beach this weekend for a big charity event.

Dusty Rhodes is holding his third annual Dusty Rhodes American Dream Charity Motorcycle Run. The event kicked off Friday evening at Spinnaker Beach Club with the early registration.

The bike run was Saturday, starting at Ms. Newby's on Thomas Drive, with stops at Finns Sandbar, the Outpost, TJ's Tavern and Flashbacks.

Proceeds from the bike run will go to Panama City Shriners to transport more than 320 children and their families back and forth to the Children's Hospital in Tampa.

Rhodes says he helped start this event because the cause is close to his heart.

Dusty Rhodes said "This will make you feel good, instead of having that extra beer or that pack of cigarettes or let’s go do this, give me that dollar or two and I'll give it to the Shriners Children's Hospital and I'll laugh about it and you'll feel good about it. If you don't I'll come over to your house and beat you up."

The charity run registration started at 9 in the morning at Ms. Newbys on Thomas Drive, and the first bike left at 10.
