Jackson County health workers say more cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis -- or "Triple E" are being reported.
The most recent case was found in a horse from property north of Grand Ridge. So far this year, only horses have tested positive for the virus in our area.
But humans can catch the mosquito-borne illness.
So health officials say you need to do everything possible to reduce your risk of getting bitten.
