Okaloosa County Deputy Killed-Suspect Killed in Stand Off

An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy died this morning after the unit’s Special Response Team entered a home on Plymouth Avenue in Fort Walton Beach. The subject inside the house, who had threatened to shoot law enforcement officers, died at the scene.

MY HEARTS AND PRAYERS ARE GOING OUT TO THE FAMILY'S OF DEPUTY FORGIONE. THIS KIND OF THING SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. I PRAY GOD WILL GET US ALL THROUGH THIS TIME OF GRIEF. AGAIN, MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
