The body of a Forest Park woman, who's been missing for a couple days, has been found. 63-year-old Nancy Garrett was reported missing to the Bay County sheriff's office on Sunday evening by her husband.

Bay County sheriff's investigators have blocked off the entire area surrounding the Garrett house in the 2500 block of Lisenby Ave with crime scene tape. Around 12:20 this afternoon a K-9 officer found the body of a woman behind the house.

Investigators do believe it is the body of Nancy Garrett but have not done a positive identification yet. They do believe it is a homicide.

Both the Medical Examiner’s office and State Attorney's office were on scene with deputies all afternoon..

Mrs. Garrett's family members have been taken in for questioning, but it doesn’t mean they are suspects. .

The crews have been looking for Mrs. Garrett since she was reported missing on Sunday. Her husband told investigators he believed she went for a walk around this area, but when he returned to the home in the evening she was not there.

Further details of the homicide are not being released yet, according to Ruth Sasser of the Bay Co. Sheriff's Office.

"The details surrounding the body condition of the body and how it was found are not going to be released yet. We anticipate doing that at the proper time. Right now we're in the preliminary stages of the investigation. We're speaking to the family members, we're obtaining a search warrant. We're searching the area again and taking it step by step. There will be the proper time to release those details but it will be a little later on."

Again this is still the preliminary stages of this investigation.

I just heard about the police dog that was left in a car, and died because the cars a/c didnt work. My question is, will the officer responsible for the dog be charged as a cop killer?
