Panama City Police Have Not Yet Identified Body Found In Car

PANAMA CITY-- Plenty of local law enforcement officers are identifying the man who's body was found yesterday in the trunk of a car.

But none of them are making that ID a matter of record.

Panama City Police say they're waiting on the medical examiner to complete the autopsy this afternoon, before releasing the name of the dead man.

They found the body yesterday afternoon in the car abandoned on East 8th Court, right off of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The car belonged to 24 year old Tavish Greene.

Greene was last seen around 2:30 Sunday morning at the Big Daddy's Nightclub on MLK.

His family reported him missing Tuesday.

Local authorities say he'd received recent death threats, and he reportedly was a witness in one of the recent murders that have taken place in Panama City.

While neighbors say the body in the trunk was Greene, Panama City Police have not made that official identification.
