Warrants Served on Man Charged With Attempted Murder
The Warrants Division of the Bay County Sheriff’s Office developed information early today, August 12, on the location of a man wanted on numerous charges in Bay County including Attempted Murder.

The Warrants Division of the Bay County Sheriff’s Office developed information early today, August 12, on the location of a man wanted on numerous charges in Bay County including Attempted Murder.
Warrants deputies located Victor Lamond Murphy Tuesday morning about 11am at 4718 Colorado Street in Springfield.
Deputies found Murphy sitting in the living room of the home and he was taken into custody without incident.
Murphy had outstanding warrants for Attempted Felony Murder, Sexual Battery, Burglary, False Imprisonment and Battery. These charges stem from an incident in Lynn Haven on July 22, 2008.
Murphy also had outstanding warrants for Violation of Probation (DUI), and two counts of Failure to Appear (Passing Worthless Checks). Murphy was taken to the Bay County Jail and booked.
