The mood of Wednesday’s Bay County School Board meeting was upbeat; despite the fact two members have lost their jobs.
Board Members Jon McFatter and Johnny Brock lost their seats during Tuesday’s primary election.
Jerry Register and Ryan Neves will take over those seats in November. Neither Neves nor Register were at Wednesday’s meeting.
The current board will meet at least five more times between now and then. They’ll approve a final budget for this school year; the issue that many believe was a deciding factor in Tuesday’s election.
