A hit and run at a local gas station in Panama City Beach leaves a gas station damaged.
According to Bay County Sheriffs a person ran into a brick wall at a gas station on Joan Avenue and North Lagoon just before nine Sunday night.
Florida highway patrol is working the case but Bay County Sheriffs and Panama City police department are assisting since the driver is on the loose. They believe the person may have crossed the Hathataway Bridge around 9:15, but still haven't confirmed that.
You're asked to be on the lookout for a smaller newer gray car with front end damage. Witnesses say it may have been a smaller Toyota or Chevy.
If you spot a car that fits into this description, dial 911.
