Parker was one of the cities hit hardest in Tuesday morning’s storm.
Surprisingly, many residents slept right through the thunder and heavy rain, but they were shocked when they awoke to see all of the damage.
Ten homeowners had trees fall on their homes. Power lines were down throughout the city.
Several roads are down to one lane: West Cooper at Blackshear, Soule Drive at Thornton Lane, Dover Road, Sunset Drive and Cedar Street, and Pitts Avenue.
City work crews have been picking up debris as quickly as possible.
The Parker Fire Department will provide tarps for people with damaged roofs, and the Parker Sports Complex will be closed until Monday because of damages.
