Suspect Sought For Stabbing

Panama City Police are still trying to get to the bottom of a Tuesday morning stabbing that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened about 6:30 a.m. at the Gardner Dickinson Apartments at 1025 Everitt Avenue.

Investigators say two people started arguing inside an apartment but then it spilled over into the parking lot, where police say 27-year-old Mequel Carlos Hickson stabbed the victim a number of times.

The victim, whose name hasn't been released, was taken to a local hospital. Although he was stabbed in the chest, the victim is expected to recover.

Police say they need your help in finding Hickson. He's 6’2” with a slim build. He's been known to wear an earring in each ear and he may be in a black Ford Taurus.

If you know anything about where Hickson is, you're asked to call Panama City Police at 872-3100 or Crimestoppers at 785-TIPS.
