Murderer Appeals Conviction

A woman convicted of murder in the beating death of her husband is appealing that conviction.

Monique Turenne is serving a 21-year sentence for her role in the death of her husband, David Turenne.

He was found outside his Forest Park home in February of 1996.

The State Attorney says Monique is the person who killed David, after he had gotten into a fight with Monique's alleged lover Ralph Crompton.

Turenne's appealing her conviction on the grounds there wasn't enough evidence to convict her.
