Construction crews will be installing a temporary traffic signal and re-striping travel lanes at the U.S. 98-U.S. 331 intersection each evening beginning Wednesday, September 17 through the first week of October. Drivers can expect nightly lane shifts near the intersection between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. along with the potential for minor travel delays.
The traffic signal and lane shifts will remain in place while crews work to widen U.S. 331 to four lanes between the U.S. 331-U.S. 98 intersection and the southern end of the Clyde B. Wells Bridge across Choctawhatchee Bay. Work on the project began this month and is expected to continue through late 2009.
