Supporters were out hanging the Vera Bradley Pink bows in the promotions area of Pier Park early this morning.

The bows will be on display until the end of October if the weather permits of course.

Also, the fountains will be filled with pink water to celebrate and remember those who have battled breast cancer.

A number of other stores in Pier Park are also taking part in the effort.

"To help us with the support to raise money for the research for this disease, we have pledged $10 million for the Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Foundation and we're asking for your support. This is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so just come out to Pier Park, come to Irene and Company and make your donation," Lynn Cain of Vera Bradley said.

Unique Boutique by Irene and company will be selling personalized Vera Bradley pink bows and t-shirts from now until the end of October.

You can drop by the store there in Pier Park and pick up a personalized pink ribbon for $5 and a t-shirt for $20.
