Local Panama City Children Invited to Audition for Moscow Ballet

Moscow Ballet will hold an open audition in Panama City for its "Great Russian Nutcracker" at Panama City Dance Academy, 100 Jazz Drive, Panama City on Tues., Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. For more information, please contact Dance Coordinator Michelle Williams at 850-763-7191.
Applicants must have at least one year of dance experience and be between 7 and 18 years old. There is no height limitation. Students must dress in
dance attire and bring pointe shoes, if on pointe.
Moscow Ballet will present its Great Russian Nutcracker performance at Marina Civic Center on Saturday, December 27th, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available on-line at www.nutcracker.com, or by phone at (850)763-4696, or toll free (888)763-4696.
World-renowned Moscow Ballet will celebrate its 16th anniversary U.S. tour. The cast features luminaries of the Perm, Vaganova, Moscow State Academic Choreographic and Kiev schools. Ballet Master Vladimir Troschenko and Chief Choreographer Anatoli Emelianov return as company co-directors, with the addition of Andre Litvinov this year.
