Zollie Young Park, just off of U.S. 231, is the new home to a dog park. Bay County celebrated the grand opening today, Halloween style! The park is located on Cato Road in Bayou George. Cato runs betweem US 231 on the east and State Road 390 on the west.
Dogs came dressed to impress for the costume contest. There was trick or treating for the kids, and you could also get a microchip for your dog incase it ever got lost.
Bay County is very excited about the new park. Residents are very happy, too!
"It will be a place we will definitely come back to. It's just something that we've needed for this community for a long time so we can all bring our pets," Jan Richmond, a resident, said.
The park is open from dawn to dusk.
